NZ Qualifications Authority hastens move to cloud

The New Zealand Qualifications Authority ensures that NZ qualifications are accepted as credible and robust,
both nationally and internationally.

NZQA administers the National Certificates of Educational Achievement (NCEAs) for secondary school students
and is responsible for the quality assurance of non-university tertiary training providers.

As a Crown entity, with an annual expenditure of around $80 million, they employ about 400 staff throughout
the year, with many more contracted for the annual external examination process.

What we did
Hastening the move to cloud with Microsoft 365 we helped the NZQA untangle their existing IT environment more quickly, safely and cost effectively. 

The huge volume of data, complex security and compliance requirements, and integration with existing systems made this one of our most interesting projects. 

Following the successful delivery of this project, we were delighted to be awarded finalists for Modern Work Microsoft Partner of the Year 2021.
