RAD to the future with Kāpiti Coast District Council

Kāpiti Coast District Council has embraced modern information management with their 'RAD' new digital workplace.

Migrating from OpenText to Microsoft 365 has brought together core systems, enabled fit-for-purpose document management and intranet through SharePoint Online and provided new tools to support handling customer requests.

 Project highlights:

• Executed at lightning speed all core systems brought together on the cloud using Microsoft 365 in six months flat
• Teams-First approach empowers the team to use Microsoft Teams as  their primary interface alongside SharePoint
• Searching for documents has never been easier with a functional taxonomy
• A partnership approach between Information Leadership and Kāpiti Coast District Council meant IL led the technical work while Kāpiti spearheaded the change management

Following the success of the RAD project, the Kāpiti Coast team were awarded finalists for ALGIM 'IRM Project of the Year' 2021.
