Question 1: The dreaded email reminder

Jane says she just got an email from IT saying that they are about to delete her emails because she has exceeded her size limit. She wants to know is this “legal” – what do you tell her?

(a)  Its not, and you are going to call in Archives NZ today
(b) Its OK, because we have a compliant email archiving system
(c) Its not really OK, but she should print out or save important emails
(d) She should already be using the policy and saving  probably around a third of her emails in the EDRMS - I'll give her the link to the simple ten page pdf that explains this
(e) Something else
