ALGIM Records Symposium 3 July with Sarah Heal
Training and Support Challenges for Local Government
Record keeping compliance is a combination of both
system capability and user adoption. Today everyone in your organisation
needs to be enlisted in the records management effort.
This paper focuses on how to build the quantity and quality
of adoption across your council. This requires new ways of thinking about,
and delivering, training and support. It is not sufficient to run training
courses and set up a helpdesk and then expect that enduring behaviour
change will follow. Sarah will share real world examples and our latest
thinking on how you can get the right portfolio of proactive and reactive
support and targeted interventions.
